Our Rock Steady Boxing class is a non-contact boxing program developed to help people dealing with Parkinson’s disease combat their symptoms. This new and innovative program creates an environment where individuals can come together, support one another, and reach their full potential as they FIGHT BACK against Parkinson’s.

What to Expect:

      • A non-contact boxing class designed to help those with Parkinson’s disease to exercise to their best ability
      • Drills focused on the improvement of balance, stability, posture, gait, and flexibility, as well as working to better control tremors brough on by Parkinson’s
      • A workout that will make you sweat and help to give you more energy throughout the day
      • A community of people to support you through your journey with Parkinson’s

Rock Steady is a non-contact boxing program developed to help people dealing with Parkinson’s disease combat their symptoms. Studies demonstrate that patients with Parkinson’s showed both short-term and long-term improvements in balance, gait, strength, and reduced tremors after participating in Rock Steady Boxing. Rock Steady classes at CORE are taught by Abdul Jarvis and Max Haddad with the help from volunteers. Level 1 & 2 classes are offered Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 10- 11:30 am. Level 3 classes are offered Tuesday/Thursday from 10-11 am.
