Core has partnered with Rock Steady Boxing to bring Louisville this new and innovative way to help people with Parkinson’s Disease. We strive to create an environment where individuals can come together, support one another, and reach their full potential as they FIGHT BACK against Parkinson’s.
Rock Steady is a non-contact boxing program developed to help people dealing with Parkinson’s disease combat their symptoms. Studies demonstrate that patients with Parkinson’s showed both short-term and long-term improvements in balance, gait, strength, and reduced tremors after participating in Rock Steady Boxing. Check out this Wave3 story on our program for more information about what this program is and why it is important to us.
