Abdul Jarvis

Abdul Jarvis is a top-level boxing coach and has coached boxing and kickboxing for more than 20 years, developing 5 Golden Gloves champions and 2 world champions. Abdul currently teaches adult (beginner and advanced) and kids boxing classes, as well as our Parkinson's boxing program, a class designed specifically for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Abdul started boxing and kickboxing at 9 years old, competing in 30 amateur matches and winning the Golden Gloves in 1978. Abdul suffered a major setback in 1985 when he was hospitalized for one year after being run over by a truck. After rehab, he turned professional; compiling a boxing record of 11 wins to 1 loss and a kickboxing record of 22-0, winning the World Kickboxing Championship.
